Welcome to Scrunchteez! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (the “Site”) and the purchase of products through our store, hosted on Big Cartel. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

This website is owned and operated by Scrunchteez, based in New Zealand. All prices are listed in NZD unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. Please check this page regularly for changes.

2. Orders

When you place an order on our site, you agree that:

- All information provided is accurate and complete  
- You are legally entitled to make the purchase  
- You understand your order is subject to acceptance and availability

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion, including for suspected fraud or pricing errors.

3. Payments

All payments are securely processed through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your payment information is not stored by us.

By purchasing, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your card for the total amount shown, including any shipping fees.

4. Pricing & Taxes

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST (if applicable). Shipping costs are added at checkout. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We aim to ship your order within 3 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location. Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number (if available).

We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events beyond our control.

6. Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your purchase! If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order via our contact page.

We accept returns if:  
- You received the wrong item

Conditions:
- Items must be unused and in original condition  
- Custom or made-to-order items may not be eligible for return unless faulty

Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including images, logos, text, and designs, is the property of Scrunchteez or licensed to us. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scrunchteez is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of this website or products, except where required by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under NZ consumer law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts.
